After a bit of discussion on the OSIA list today, I've decided to publish our PHP web based interface to SANE on the web. It's really basic, and scans and displays, but it works :-) And it sucks less than all the other web interfaces for SANE scanning out there. It's released under the GPL 3.0, and requires SANE front ends and back ends to be working correctly, and a *working* install of ImageMagick. (This does not include the standard distribution with RedHat or CentOS!). |

While Web 2.0 means a lot of things to different people, I've started using FaceBook and YouTube, but perhaps more exciting is my recent discovery of a wealth of digital media available online. I've come to love listening to sermons from Mars Hill Church, Seattle. My Church also has sermons available online. I've just finished putting talks from the recent 21C Leadership Conference online, as well as a fantastic lecture from Rev Prof. Andrew McGowan from the Highlands Theological College, Scottland on the way Christians should interact with the world. Very refreshing stuff. |

StoneBridge Computing (a division of Real World Technology ) was apparently one of the top AMD resellers in March, and so AMD and one of our suppliers sent us with a handful of other companies to the Scenic Hunter Valley for lunch, some wine tasting and cheese! Even we need to take a break some times... |
